Who we are…

Greetings friends, my name is Paul Diggs, and I am a husband, a father, a father-in-law, and a grandfather. Made possible by my relationship with The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Shortly after becoming a Christian in 1979, I began to learn the HVACR trade. Learning the HVACR trade was important learning for me, in that it supported me attending preaching school and peaching over the years.

TradeMentor Academy (TMA) represents something that I can put in place for the benefit of others. It brings together the opportunity for those of us who see the need to impact the future by investing in strangers. My youthful life began with an absent father and the lack of discipline. My positive childhood traits lacked cultivation after the sixth grade. From that point to becoming a Christian was a difficult time for me. Being motivated by the gospel’s message, I hitchhiked across the country sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. For about seven years, I rode with strangers, I lived with strangers, I ate with strangers, I prayed with strangers, I worshipped with strangers, and worked often for the people who took me in. Over the years from strangers, I received abundant support for me and what I wanted to do (too many to name all of which I am very thankful and grateful for).

There are people of the same caliber today that fit in the same category of giving and needing. Some people have a need to supply strangers with what is helpful for them and some people need assistance from strangers to get to the good within them.

The TradeMentor Academy (TMA) stands as a model to be replicated across various skill trades. I am offering entry level HVACR learning tuition free to those who want to learn the skill. In addition to passing on my HVACR skills and my integrity, gained from being a Christian, TMA invites others to present to our students’ meaningful advice and insight. Students enrolled in TMA are given the opportunity to volunteer within the community. We regularly respond to requests for live work (minor HVACR repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance). We are in the process of establishing regular volunteer visits to non-profits in our area.

Your support is crucial for meeting the mission and goal TMA has. TMA hopes that the work it does is continued and shared with all of its beneficiary. Do feel free to return to the home page and make it happen!

A man most thankful
